Objetivo: Nesta aula, vamos praticar a compreensão e o uso do inglês em situações reais através de 30 mini-diálogos. Translate and Interpret the Text

Read the dialogue below about a couple's anniversary dinner. Pay attention to the different phrases used throughout the evening. Then, try to translate it into Portuguese.

David: Good evening. We have a reservation for two at 7:30 PM under the name David.
Host: Welcome, Mr. David. Right this way, please. Your table is ready.

(A few minutes later)
Waiter: Can I get you something to drink to start?
Maria: Yes, please. I'll have a glass of sparkling water. David, what about you?
David: I'll have the same. Also, what do you recommend from the appetizers?
Waiter: The calamari is very fresh today.
David: Perfect. We'll start with the calamari then.

(After the appetizer)
Waiter: Are you ready to order your main courses?
Maria: Almost. I'm trying to decide between the salmon and the steak. A quick question: does the sauce for the steak contain any dairy? I'm lactose intolerant.
