Na aula passada, aprendemos sobre o Passado Simples com verbos regulares. Hoje, vamos enfrentar um pequeno desafio: os Verbos Irregulares (Irregular Verbs). 13. Dominando os Verbos Irregulares no Passado
13.1 Verbos que Mudam Tudo: Introdução aos Verbos Irregulares (Irregular Verbs) 🔄
Enquanto os verbos regulares formam o passado simples adicionando "-ed", os Verbos Irregulares (Irregular Verbs) têm formas próprias para o passado, que não seguem um padrão previsível. Isso significa que precisamos memorizá-los.
A boa notícia é que muitos dos verbos mais usados em inglês são irregulares, então, ao aprendê-los, você expandirá muito sua capacidade de comunicação sobre o passado!
Exemplos:
- Regular: I walked to the park. (Eu caminhei para o parque.)
- Irregular: I went to the beach. (Eu fui para a praia.) - "go" (ir) vira "went" no passado.

A ótima notícia sobre os verbos irregulares é que, para formar frases negativas e interrogativas no Passado Simples, a regra é a MESMA dos verbos regulares!
Usamos o auxiliar DID (ou DIDN'T para negativas) e o verbo irregular volta para a sua FORMA BASE (infinitivo sem "to").
- Negativa: Sujeito + didn't + Verbo Irregular (forma base) + Complemento.
- Interrogativa: Did + Sujeito + Verbo Irregular (forma base) + Complemento?

My Unforgettable Journey to the Lost City
Last year, I went on the most remarkable trip of my life. I traveled to Peru with a single goal: to see the ancient Incan city of Machu Picchu. The journey itself was an adventure. I flew into Cusco, a beautiful city high in the Andes mountains. I spent a few days there to get used to the high altitude. The air was thin, and I often felt out of breath, but the local coca tea helped a lot.
From Cusco, I took a train through the Sacred Valley. The views from the window were breathtaking. I saw towering green mountains, winding rivers, and small, traditional villages. The train ride was comfortable, and I met other travelers who were just as excited as I was. We shared stories and expectations for the adventure ahead.
The final part of the journey was a bus ride up a steep, winding road. It was a little scary, but the driver was very skilled. When I finally walked through the entrance of Machu Picchu, I felt a sense of wonder that I can't fully describe. The lost city was right there in front of me, surrounded by majestic peaks and covered in a light mist. It looked exactly like the pictures, but it felt much more magical in person.
I spent the entire day exploring the ruins. I walked through the temples, saw the famous Intihuatana stone, and even made friends with a few llamas that roamed freely. I found a quiet spot to sit and just look at the incredible scenery. I thought about the people who built this amazing place so long ago. I took hundreds of photos, but I knew that no picture could truly capture the feeling of being there. It was a powerful and humbling experience that I will never forget. I came back home with not just souvenirs, but with a memory that became a part of me.
